If a species is not listed in the report of a specific area, it does not mean the species is not present there. Similarly, a listed species may no longer inhabit the area. Rare or threatened includes species listed as extinct, extinct in the wild, critically endangered, endangered, vulnerable or conservation dependent under either the Nature Conservation Act or Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act
